This Monday was the first day back from Puerto Rico. So here is what happened during the week. Get ready to be told a long story of a trip that you were not there for but will be able to imagine you were.

After abound 10 hours, we arrived at Ponce Hilton 100% ready to get food. We headed to the boardwalk and ate at La Guancha. I think most of us tried Pinchos and WOW!!! They were pretty good. After eating, I think we were all ready to go swimming which is a necessity to do on every trip we take. You see, it’s always the parents that ask for “5 more minutes” which, if you guessed, made us unable to swim that night. We had to go straight to bed.

The next day, we ate breakfast at El Meson. I simply asked for a blueberry muffin that was sitting right under the counter. I was near last to get my food. Then, we were on our way to the Guamani Private School to take a trolley tour. We visited a history museum and one of the students wasn’t feeling too well. To be honest, he did look quite pale.

We went down the block to get ice-cream at Rex’s, then headed to the Plaza right in front of both Rex’s and the museum. Beedo, beedo, BEEP BEEP! An ambulance was going down the street and parked right in front of the museum. Was that the correct student???

On Tuesday we headed to Guamani Private school. I made many friends, and even three days after our depart, we stay in touch…

Wednesday… Ah yes, Wednesday. This day was quite interesting. We got to see the manatees. We fed them, we got to pet them, and we got to… Well… see them. They looked so annoyed with the world, yet super playful at the same time. We learned a lot about their daily routine with the manatees. I might just volunteer there one day…

Thursday doesn’t hold much besides; I don’t know… new hotel… scavenger hunt… APRIL’S BIRTHDAY. We headed out to a really fancy restaurant, and the waiters sang her happy birthday.

We got ice-cream and went dancing. Shame to all of you that didn’t wish her a happy birthday… Shame…

It was now our last day in Puerto Rico, we were going to go to the El Yunqe rainforest. It got cancelled… But I guess it’s okay, because we got a free day to explore the Hotel. We went to an island (besides the one we’re staying on) and went snorkeling. And to end our trip, we went dancing. It was a lot of fun! I had one more item to collect from the scavenger hunt. Guess where it was located? El Yunqe.

Now were back home. Super tired. Already wondering why Oklahoma became so cold…
