Thursday, May 18th, we rushed out to Bixby North Elementary to teach them how to help our waters. When we got there, they were all staring at the stuffed raccoon we had. We headed down to the Science Lab to set up all of our things. Mr. Arant, opened the class with a speech. Now, they were heading to the three different stations: Conservation, Pollution, and Wildlife. I was in Wildlife. I taught them about the sunfish. I think that wildlife was the biggest hit because of the raccoon. It appears that kids find dead raccoons very fascinating. I mean, I would. Afterward what we heard was dandy. We were invited back next year as the kid's field trip! For those who don't know, because of Bixby school's budget cuts, field trips have pretty much gone away. Now it's our job to entertain them!
